Proposed Shrimp Line

Proposed Inside/Outside Shrimp Line Changes

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries (LDWF) is proposing to update the Inside/Outside Shrimp Line, using 2015 satellite data to re-draw the line for the entire coast.  Click on the maps at right to view larger images.

This line separates the ‘inside or inshore’ waters from the ‘offshore waters or territorial seas’.
