SEDAR Data Workshop for Gulf Red Snapper

The Southeast Data Assessment and Review (SEDAR) 74 Data Workshop for Gulf red snapper will be held in-person from 1 p.m. on May 2, 2022, through 1 p.m. on May 6, 2022. The meeting will be held at the Courtyard Marriott in Gulfport, MS. The workshop is open to the public and will not be broadcast via webinar due to the number of ongoing working groups that will be addressing the various data indices outlined below.
Workshop discussion items will include the development of an assessment data set and associated documentation. Participants will evaluate proposed data and select appropriate sources for providing information on life history characteristics, recreational and commercial catch statistics, discard mortality estimates, length and age compositions, and fishery-dependent and fishery-independent measures of stock abundance.
