Wildlife & Fisheries Commission Meeting

The next regular Commission Meeting will be held at 9:30 AM on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at the Wildlife and Fisheries Headquarters Building located at 2000 Quail Drive, Baton Rouge, LA

The following items will be discussed:

I.     Call to order

II.     Roll call

III.     Approval of minutes from last meeting

IV.     Commission Special Announcements / Personal Privilege

V.     To hear Enforcement Reports September 2015 – Lt Col Martin

VI.     To recognize the Archery in Louisiana Schools (ALAS) Award Winning National Tournament Participants – Robert Stroede

VII.     To hear a presentation on the 2015 Red Snapper Season data- Joey Shepard

VIII.     To Consider a Declaration of Emergency to Amend the season dates for the Falconry Seasons for Ducks, Rails and Gallinules – Larry Reynolds

IX.     To hear a summary of the public meetings comments and recommended options for Waterfowl Hunting Zones and Splits – Larry Reynolds

X.     To hear a status report on the request for an Attorney General’s opinion on the Breeding Habitat Statutory dedicated funding – Fred Whitrock

XI.     Set February 2016 Meeting Date

XII.     Receive Public Comments

XIII.     Adjournment
