This one-day workshop covers Sanitation Control Procedures for Processing Fish and Fishery Products that meets U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) training requirements. It is designed to educate seafood processors, packers, wholesale dealers, harvesters & warehouses about sanitation procedures. Participants who complete the course receive a certificate issued by Association of Food & Drug Officials (AFDO) that fulfills FDA requirements for seafood sanitation control procedures training.
The workshop is offered by LSU AgCenter’s School of Nutrition and Food Sciences; in cooperation with the AFDO and the FDA. It will be held June 4, 2018 on the LSU Campus – Efferson Hall, Room 214, at the corner of Highland Rd & E Parker Blvd in Baton Rouge. Discounted price is $150 before May 15; $175 thereafter.
