Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council Webinar Meeting

The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council will hold a webinar meeting from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.

The Council plans to review Section 3.0 of its Statement of Organization Practices and Procedures (SOPPS). This section outlines procedures for making motions and voting during Council meetings. Currently, Council members must be physically present at in-person Council meetings in order to present a motion or vote. The Council also plans to discuss the June 2020 Council meeting.

Public testimony will be held from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT. Public comment may begin earlier than 11:00 am EDT but will not conclude before that time. Persons wishing to give public testimony must register on the Council website before the start of the public comment period at 11:00 am EDT. Register for public comment here.
